Beau and his kidneys

This is Beau, he is a Burmese cat who is almost 10 years old.  He is a regular visitor to the Sutton Courtenay cat clinic.  He was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease last year.  He initially had normal blood pressure, but last week we diagnosed him with hypertension (high blood pressure).  After a week on tablets he is feeling better and his blood pressure has returned to normal.  He is a little naughty with his medication, but his owner is giving him the tablets with the use of a pill popper.

We still need Beau to gain a little bit more weight, but he is much happier than he was a few months ago.  We will keep you updated on his progress.

This is Candi.  Candi came to see Sarah at the Sutton Courtenay cat clinic this week.  Candi was hit by a car almost a year ago and has been left with a paralysed back end.  We didn’t think she would pull through after her accident, but due to the dedication of her owner, she is living a happy life and managing to get around well.  She came to the cat clinic for a 6 month check up.    Having cuddles with vet Sarah.

Eddie came over to Sutton for his 2nd vaccination today.

He has grown a lot and is doing well.

He really enjoyed meeting some of our cat clinic clients.
